The Complete Bathrooms, Tiling, Plumbing and Decorating Service
I did my first professional tiling job way back in 1988, it was a commercial kitchen for a local Indian restaurant. The job took about a week and I felt snowblind afterwards as the whole room was gleaming white (white tiles and white grout!). I did lots of ceramic tiling in those days alongside the painting and decorating I did but it was all ceramic 4" square tiles or 6" x 8" tiles. Though you still had marble and slate, tiling choice was limited back then and there wasn't the choice that exists today.
After many years of tiling I embarked upon a series of training programmes that would refresh my skills and update my knowledge on modern tiles and their associated fixing methods; plumbing for bathrooms and kitchens; underfloor heating and tile cleaning and restoration with regards to marble, slate, calcified stones (limestone, sandstone, travertine etc.) and grouts. This was via PITT Ltd who specialise in effectively delivering these training techniques. This has enhanced my skill base and has enabled me to extend my services throughout the complete installation of bathrooms, kitchens and more adventurous tiling projects especially with underfloor heating.
